Hey dancers,

Here's a BIG thanks to Cass for helping us with the new layout! It's time for a new change for now. and also we want to thank Wei Jie (im sure we all know who he is..heh heh heh) for helping us with the tag board!!! We love u guys!!!!!

Here's something that i wish to share with you. Serene gave me a verse on wednesday and i really wanted to share that verse with all of you because this verse reminded her of our Easter dance and the things we are going through and when i read it, i knew what she meant. So may this bring you hope as much as it did to me.here's 1 Cor 1:26-31

26 Brothers, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. 27 But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. 28 He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, 29 so that no one may boast before him. 30 It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. 31 Therefore, as it is written: "Let him who boasts boast in the Lord."

Isn't it wonderful to know that in the eyes of the Lord, we are valuable? Though we may not be the best dancers but yet, in a simple way like this, God can be praised.
So my dear dancers, as we draw towards Easter, keep your purpose and focus of this dance in your hearts. Dont let what you see determine what you will believe in. Sometimes, it just takes a little more faith and trust. It's not easy as we all know it but God works in the hearts of those who are willing. He doesnt need perfection from us, i believe all He wants is simply our whole attitude of worship that is sincere and pure, giving Him the best that we can give in our own ways.

2 Cor 13:4 says " Likewise we are weak in Him yet by God's power we will live with Him to serve you."

Let us serve with the strength that He gives and u know that His power is made perfect in weakness.

There's one last thing that i would like you to read and reflect upon.
Easter could just be a celebration to some, it could be a season of joy where cute bunnies and easter eggs are seen everywhere, it could be just another sunday to some but what God is more interested is... what is Easter to u?

I am always very emo when i start to think about Good friday and Easter. Because to me, the cross that i wear on my neck reminds me of my faith and who i am. As i hang that cross ard me, it reminds me to bear that same attitude of Christ Jesus everywhere i go. I am an ambassador and a witness for Christ. and it breaks my heart just to know how much this man has suffered for me so that i can be saved. because i am not even worthy. But yet He sacrificed His life for us...so on our part..what can we do?what will you do? Like the song it says..what can i do but thank you... what can i do but give me life to you...
my dear ones, oh i really hope that these are just not beautiful words to you but that it will be your personal prayer...and u live out what ur dancing to. Make it real to u and Him.

Hebrews 12:1-3

1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witness, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. 2 Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfector of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

Just something to share again. Lately, i have been questioning myself with this " What does Easter mean to me?" I know i have been asking you guys about this question weeks ago because we needed to set the theme for Easter. Honestly, i havent really given much thought to it myself till this week since i had some time to spare.

So, what does Easter mean to you? Besides the celebration that Jesus has risen...we must not forget about this man who has paid the price for us on that cross. The thought of that made me realise that such an honourable man deserved all my praises that i could possibly give. I wanted to desperately express my thanksgiving, my gratitude and i just dont know where to begin. I guess it taught me then, to take my service to Him in this area seriously. He is the main character, isnt it? and on that day, the focus that all will see is Him. I have been thinking abt the songs, and i want to re-choose the songs and choose a christian song instead. i hope that the dance will tell a story and i just felt that besides the celebration and the energy we could have easily displayed, what goes on within is what that matters. Just imagining how Jesus vicariously suffered for us really took away all my pride and my plans and expectations for Easter.
For me, i would say it's back to the heart of worship now. And i want you to feel that happiness as u dance, i want you to know ur purpose and find your contentment in dancing. it should not be momentarily but it's a long lasting fulfillment. That's why i felt that the song lyrics play a very important part.

As you think about your role and how much you want to tell the congregation abt how thankful u are for having such a Saviour, lets dance out that purpose and let that joy spread and fill the sanctuary! Lets hang in there guys! It's not always smooth and sunshine everyday, but at least u know that if you hold on long enough, u'll see the fruits of Your labour. Right now for me, im waiting to see that... (: have a good weekend guys..
